Gentle Washing: Machine wash kurtas and suit sets on a delicate cold-water cycle or hand wash with a mild detergent — never wring or twist the fabric to avoid damage.
Dry Clean Embellished Pieces: Lehengas, sarees, and heavily embroidered garments should always be dry cleaned to protect intricate threadwork, zari, and surface embellishments.
Turn Inside Out: Before washing, always turn garments inside out to shield prints, embroidery, and delicate detailing from friction and colour bleeding.
Shade Dry Only: Lay flat or hang-dry in a shaded area — direct sunlight can fade the vibrant colours and weaken fine fabrics like chiffon, silk, and georgette.
Iron with Care: Use a low to medium heat setting and always place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the garment, especially for silk, Banarasi, and embroidered pieces.
Store Smartly: Fold and store ethnic wear in a cool, dry place or wrap in muslin cloth to protect from dust, moisture, and fabric distortion between uses.
